Some years ago, a group of incredible women gave me a gift - a box filled with TREASURE of hand-written notes telling me how they see me and what they like about me. A treasure that made me feel treasured. I was deeply moved by this simple yet incredible gift. It made a lasting impression on my heart and helped me to see myself through their eyes - eventually. THAT is what inspired me to create this very unique Journal, and to pay forward that extraordinary feeling of being honoured and appreciated by the women in my life. Women who saw what I didn't. The WHY
Women! It’s time we celebrate each other! In this modern world of rush and pressure to perform, many of us women are short on time to notice, not to mention acknowledge, just how amazing we are. And since we are so great at doing things for others before ourselves, why not use this quality in a way that gives to both sides of the equation? This Journal was created as a way to do just that! The purpose of this Journal is to illuminate what most women tend not to notice about themselves. And to strengthen or, in some cases, resurrect the practice of women clearly, loudly, and authentically praising each other. To remind one another of how significant, impactful, and appreciated they are, that they matter; here and now, not later. And what better way to do it than by a collection of handwritten notes? The HOW This Journal is unique in that it is purchased by a woman who is the Giver, and then gifted to the woman who is the chosen celebrated Recipient. Prior to gifting it, the Giver fills out Part 1 of the Journal, expressing her thoughts and feelings about the woman she wants to celebrate, using the included prompts and extra space provided if desired. The Recipient has her specific prompts to follow in Part 2, and additional pages available to her however she chooses to use them going forward. The WHEN Now is always the best time to tell someone they are appreciated. Not later, now. Later may bring regrets, and the now has all the opportunity and possibility we can ever expect to have. Therefore, the WHEN ought to be NOW. |
Once we, women, nurture our nature and embrace each other with arms and hearts wide open,
our place in the world will naturally take place, and restore itself to its Nature. Let’s do that! Let's do that for each other, and let's do it together in celebration of one another! |
