Haters Will Hate: What Most Haters & The Hated Don’t Realize.

Yes. Haters will hate, but who are they actually hating?

Hate is a corrosive spawn of envy.

Envy is a painful, sometimes even torturous, feeling of wanting something someone else has while believing it isn't possible to obtain it.

It may be looks, smarts, language skills, relationships, money, or fame and fortune; once a hater concludes they can’t have what you have, they fall prey to their own self-judgement.

Unaware, they transferred their own self-dissatisfaction onto you (a clear mark of a narcissist). They think you are the problem, the cause of their discomfort. But that is not the case. 

You see, people who are unaware of what they think of themselves don’t understand that it isn't you they dislike.

They don’t know that you are only a mirror reflecting their inner self-assessment, judgement, and beliefs about their ability to achieve.

Oblivious to its existence, somewhere along the way, they decided they couldn’t obtain anything beyond a certain level, a limit they had set in place.

​Haters will hate because you have exceeded their expectations of themselves.

Leave that with them.

All you can do, if you care to (and you don’t have to), is to hope for them to one day gain some self-awareness. Maybe then they can realize not only what they think of themselves but also that they can change it.
